Challenge:
Therma-Wave's Annual Sales Meeting is critical for providing product
training and market positioning to its sales managers and representatives
worldwide. The event is an important interaction between sales and
marketing staff for educating and motivating the Sales group, and for
building strong interdepartmental working relationships. The sales meeting
also energizes and motivates staff for SEMICON West, the semiconductor
industry's largest tradeshow.
Solution:
As the main sales meeting and awards ceremony, Therma-wave's event is
extremely important to the company. Kennedy Events took Therma-Wave to
Seascape, a conference center and resort located on the beach near
Santa Cruz, California. There Kennedy Events arranged for training
session facilities and lead team-building activities to develop trust
and communication between the sales and marketing groups. Meals were held
on a terraced dining patio, where attendees could continue to develop
friendships and team trust. Attendees left very appreciative of the
conference's positive results. Confirming this was the feedback from
both sales staff and internal employees that this was the best sales
conference in Therma-Wave's history!
Annual "Body In Balance" Women's Healthcare Conference Series
Client:
Kaiser Permanente
Challenge:
A successful three part series in English, Cantonese and Spanish, this
community education program was missing an important target population.
The English event was drawing strong attendance from women 35 and older,
but missing younger women. This important group could benefit extensively
from learning health and safety information at a young age.
Solution:
We sought out San Francisco State University's Student Health Services, who
were also committed to educating their students on important health issues.
We made the decision to hold the conference on campus, which meant
bringing the event right to the students' doorstep while easily
accommodating attendees from the Bay Area. The end result was a 50%
increase in the under 35 age group.
World Premiere of the film "World Record Guy"
Client:
Lou Stallion Company
Challenge:
Lou Stallion Company, a start-up film production company, planned to host
an event to premiere their first dramatic film. With a limited budget, their
goal was to provide a memorable and festive evening for their guests.
Solution:
Kennedy Events produced the premier celebration at Dolby Sound Studios in
San Francisco, California, a state-of-the-art facility with excellent atmosphere
and industry prestige. In the theater lobby, guests were introduced to the
look of the film, and its unique comedic flair, by life-sized cutouts of the film's
stars, a looped showing of the film's trailer and laptop computers unveiling the
film's new website. Guests came away from this event with an indelible
impression of the goofy fun of "World Record Guy."
