Who You Are
We are seeking a proactive and organized Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic sales team. This role is pivotal in shaping the sales pipeline, from initial contact to preparing prospects for closure by our lead salesperson. The successful candidate will be trained for a future sales role within our organization, providing an excellent career growth opportunity.

Roles are defined; however, when it comes to where each team member should direct their focus, this may vary from day to day. You will report directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing, but you will be working hand-in-hand with the four-women-strong sales team, which includes our CEO and our CSO, the partners at the helm. You complement our team as someone who is excited to contribute, enthusiastic about growth, and always willing to lend a helping hand.
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you’ll apply your professional skills in a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:
CRM Management: Efficiently manage contact information and interactions using Hubspot to ensure all communications are logged and accessible.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Director of Sales, assisting with scheduling, calendar management, correspondence, and other sales operations tasks as needed.
Lead Qualification: Conduct 15-minute discovery calls to qualify prospects based on Budget, Authority, Needs, and Timeline (BANT) criteria.
Sales Outreach: Execute targeted outreach efforts to generate leads and build relationships with potential clients.
Sales Proposals: Create compelling sales proposal decks tailored to meet the needs and address the pain points of potential clients.
Deal Management: Manage configurations, pricing, and quotes using Dealhub CPQ to streamline the proposal and closure process.
Career Development: Engage in learning and training opportunities to develop sales skills with the goal of advancing to a lead sales role.

Essential functions for this job:

Ability to work independently, troubleshoot technical issues, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Quick to pick up and manage new tools in the software and MarTech spaces.
A working computer with a microphone and video.
High-speed internet and wifi.
Confident and adept with sales software.
Not essential, but highly valuable:
Certification in Hubspot Sales Hub or applicable experience.
Experience working with Google Workspace environment.
Experience working with CPQ tool(s) (Configure, Price, Quote).
Prior experience in a sales environment.
Proven ability to provide an exceptional level of client service.
Prior experience in the event industry.
Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
Compensation is negotiable and dependent on experience; the base salary range is $56,000 - $66,000.
