You are metric-driven and always have a close eye on your delta and the KPAs (Key Performance Activities) you need to execute in order to achieve your sales goal. who we are

We are an agile team. Every member is willing to step up and fill in as needed. Roles are defined, however, when it comes to where each team member should direct their focus; this may vary from day to day. You will report directly to the Head of Sales, and work alongside the Sales and Marketing Manager, Sales and Marketing Admin, and Director of Strategic Partnerships. You complement our team as someone who knows our ideal customer, is excited to contribute, and is enthusiastic about growth.

As a Global Strategic Account Lead, you’ll apply your professional skills in a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Driving net new business through prospecting, leveraging relationships in the industry, referrals, and warm leads from lead generation campaigns.

  • Attending sales opportunities and networking events to generate relationships with partners and our ideal clients.

  • Maintaining customer, deal, and lead records using Hubspot (Hubspot and Sales Automation Tools experience a plus!) 

  • Managing new sales prospects through identification, qualification, proposal, and scope of work creation to the signing the contract on the dotted line!

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.

  • Preparing and delivering compelling presentations to prospective clients.

  • Negotiating contracts and closing deals to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Keeping abreast of industry developments to stay competitive and informed.

  • Crafting email and messaging copy that is hyper-personalized to fit each client’s personality and needs. 

  • Ensuring that no lead is left behind. You are persistent and quick to follow up to ensure no potential sale, partnership, or client slips through the cracks. You are organized and able to confidently manage a large pipeline of contacts. 

  • Being quick on your feet and willing to shift gears as competing priorities arise.  

  • Working with your teammates to create a positive, high-energy atmosphere.

  • Bringing your fresh ideas, sales expertise, and industry insights to uplevel our team.

     

Essential functions for this job:

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in event production or related industry.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong negotiation abilities.

  • Proven ability to provide an exceptional level of client service

  • Excellent, clear, clean, accessible writing; obsessive attention for consistency and technical accuracy

  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • A working computer with a microphone and video

  • High-speed internet and wifi

  • Some travel required

Not essential, but highly valuable:

  • Prior experience in a sales environment

  • Hubspot Sales Hub familiarity or applicable experience 

  • Experience working with Google Workspace environment

Compensation is negotiable and dependent on experience. $75k - $105k base salary + up to 12% commission rate. Expected first-year compensation to range from $130k - $160k based on performance.
